1. Who handles your data

Ad Astra Tours, Sal Rei, Boavista, Capo Verde.

For anything concerning your data, write to info@adastratourscv.com: a person answers, not a form.

2. What we collect

When you book: your name, email, phone number, chosen date, number of guests, accommodation or meeting point, language, and any notes you write to us.

If you tell us about a health need, an allergy or reduced mobility, we use that information only to run the activity safely, and we pass it on only to the guide accompanying you.

When you write to us: your contact details and the content of your message.

When you visit the site: technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed. Visit statistics are collected only if you accepted them in the banner.

When you pay by card: your card details are handled directly by the payment network, on its own pages. They never reach us: we receive the outcome and a transaction reference, nothing more.

3. Why we use it

• To book, organise and run your experience, and to contact you about a booking in progress: this is the performance of our contract with you.
• To meet the tax and accounting obligations we are subject to.
• To keep the site secure and to prevent abuse of the booking form.
• For visit statistics and any promotional messages, only where you have consented — and you may withdraw that consent whenever you like, without having to explain why.

4. Who else sees it

Only those who need it so that your excursion can happen: the guide and driver accompanying you, the activity suppliers where there are any (boats, camp, catering), the payment network, the service we send email through, and the company hosting the site.

We do not sell your data to anyone, and we do not pass it on for third-party advertising.

5. Where it is kept, and for how long

Data is held on servers located in the European Union.

• Bookings and accounting records: for the period required by tax law, normally ten years.
• Enquiries that do not become bookings: 24 months at most.
• Visit statistics: in aggregate form, without identifying you.

6. Cookies

The site uses technical cookies, which are needed for it to work and require no consent, and statistical cookies, which we set only if you accept them.

You can change your mind at any time: at the foot of every page there is a Cookie link that reopens the choice.

7. Your rights

You may ask us to give you access to your data, to correct it, erase it, restrict its use, hand it over in a format another service can read, to object to a use, and to withdraw a consent you have given.

Just write to info@adastratourscv.com. We reply within 30 days. If our answer does not satisfy you, you can turn to the data protection authority responsible for your country.

8. Updates

If we change this notice we update the date at the top of the page. Significant changes are also notified to guests with a booking in progress.
